Peggy Larson
Ms. Larson is the fiscal manager for CIDRAP, ensuring that University of Minnesota financial and sponsored functions are completed and policies are followed. She works closely with other CIDRAP personnel to develop budgets for grant submissions and customized reports and forecasts for the center's planning needs.
She began her University experience in 2005 with the Dept. of Family Social Science and went on to the College of Education and Human Development before coming to CIDRAP in 2009. Her educational background includes a BBA degree with a concentration in human resource management from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in 1993, after which she went on to a career in the hotel industry. She returned to earn a BS in environmental science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities in 2003, where she contributed to pest risk assessments for the US Forest Service and enjoyed a short stint with the Soil Testing Laboratory before returning to financial work in 2005. Ms. Larson also assists with funding development for a non-profit organization and is on the performing cast of the Minnesota Renaissance Festival.
